Web 2.0 Expo Berlin brings together the most innovative and successful internet industry figures and companies to share examples of business models, development paradigms and design strategies. Attendees from both the corporate and start-up worlds should attend to learn to tap the power of Web 2.0.

Some of the many elements of Web 2.0 Expo Berlin include:
* A five-track conference for web professionals, developers, designers and entrepreneurs
* A major expo showcasing the leaders in Web 2.0 services and technologies
* In-depth workshops to get you up to speed
* Web 2.Open, an Open Space event for all attendees, where the audience is the speakers (more info on this soon)
* Lots of great networking events designed to celebrate the European web community

Thanks for the post, Daniela!

If anyone will be attending, please let me know! Maybe we can arrange a meet-up in Berlin. Thanks!

Also: if anyone has suggestions for how the CCI office in Berlin could participate/evangelize at the Expo, please don't hesitate to contact me. :)

Michelle, similar Web 2.0 events are being held in India as well. Can you advise on what activities you were planning to do at Berlin to promote CC? I could pick on some of those ideas to spread word about CC out here in India as well. Thanks in advance.

Kiruba, as of yet, we don't have any concrete plans for participation at the Expo. To be honest, the Berlin office doesn't have much experience with self-promotion at conferences. Have you attended something like this before? Maybe we can brainstorm about cool, engaging ways to present CC/iCommons/open content stuff?

One of our ideas is distributing snazzy and informative brochures about the pros of license porting/usage. If we come up with some, then I'm sure we could send a few along for an Indian debut. :)

Thanks Michelle. Appreciate it.

I'll share with you ideas that have worked out here. This way we can set up a 'best practices' repository that we can all benefit from.

Michelle, I enjoy the idea of "Open Source Water bottle" at the Ars Electronica Festival very much, perhaps you could contact Matthias Hager or people in Austria? http://creativecommons.at/projects/water/AECelectrolobby/view
