Day one, 15 September will be the newsgathering day. It will kick off with breakfast where we will discuss possible themes to cover around SA heritage present and past.
Please offer some ideas about what you think would be a good focus?
My first suggestion would be:
The Secret History: given the fractured nature of SA and Joburg's past, many people were living different historical moments and some of those were more personal to a specific community? Can we find these stories and tell them to give them space? SA History Online might be a good reference here. |
