I would like to see the node being completely interactive. For example, as my iJoburg node develops I would like to
1) update this with information which does not necessarily fall into blog/ forum/ scrapbook or message.
2) have a report-back section where the deliverables, budget, outcomes and next steps can be listed as the node develops.
3) I would also like to link this to the iLondon node as this was what gave us the inspiration and other nodes that are created along similar lines.

Hi Kerryn

Thanks for the suggestions! Just to get discussion going about this, I have some comments:

1) update this with information which does not necessarily fall into blog/ forum/ scrapbook or message.

So, what type of info would you like to add, and what type of applications would you recommend for this?

and...
2) have a report-back section where the deliverables, budget, outcomes and next steps can be listed as the node develops.

So this could evolve into a full-on project management system... I love this idea! It would actually also be really cool if you could assign specific tasks to the node participants who have offered their help, and have a space for them to report back on how those tasks are going...

Dear friends,

At the 2 August iCommons Board Meeting, the board decided to make some difficult but necessary changes at iCommons. It has become clear over the past months that our vision for iCommons is different from the... more
