What will people need to do to contribute to the OLP?

Given that this is a legal resource we should consider whether there should be some sort of accreditation or whether the process should be totally open? I do believe that, at the very least, contributors should be required to register with a valid email address and perhaps even use their real name.

An option which just came to mind as I type this is some sort of voting process where people can submit themselves for consideration as participants and be approved by a specified number of existing contributors in a similar way to the way the editing queue on the iCommons site works. The one problem with this approach is that it creates a bottleneck and closes off the OLP to a degree.

Thoughts? Suggestions?
