Sadly, Global Lives' previous online community home, Omidyar.net, has just closed its doors on us. We had plans to migrate in September or October to our own Drupal-based site, but since this node is here in front of me, I figured I'd check out what sort of features we've got here.

This text editor is interesting. I can't seem to make the bold feature work. Italic neither. Hmm. That's too bad. How about this link button. Hmm. Not sure if that worked or not. This is frustrating.

Hmm. It looks like these buttons work here in the reply window but not in the new post window! That's lame. The ones here are pretty straightforward though, at least for someone who knows a little bit about html.

I suppose I could get picky and ask for a WYSIWYG text editor here, as that would up the accessibility factor a bit. Do we get a wiki too with this node? I wonder what kind of markup that uses. I'll go check.
