We will talk about and organize projects around the opportunities and issues when sharing photographs.
This group is the Flickr presence for the iCommons Photo Commons node.
We will try to organize workshops, tutorials and discussion about the following topics:
* freesouls - making portraits available online under free licenses so that Wikipedia articles and other things that require photographs of people have images available to them.
* moral, model, property, privacy and other rights that are involved in taking and sharing photographs.
* licensing
* tools, techniques and services
* how-to and tutorials
* meetings at the iCommons Summits

New upgrades to icommons.org
We have some exciting new upgrades to icommons.org to report! The latest updates to the site include:
- The ability to upload vertical pictures along with horizontal pictures to the site. We've also set the minimum picture size from 600 to 420 pixels, and you can upload both jpgs and pngs.
