Here are a bunch of photographs of the first option for the iSummit Concert in Sapporo.
Okurayama Ski Jump a wonderful venue on the top of a large hill where the Winter Olympics were held in 1972 in Sapporo. You can ride up to the top of the ski jump and see a wonderful view of Sapporo from the top (and even ski down in all weather if you're good - or crazy - enough) and there is a great interactive museum in the complex that enables you to experience a bit of the thrill of these winter sports yourself (without the injury potential). There are also separate indoor rooms above the venue (where the judges usually sit) for meetings.
I'm sure the rest of the team can add info here, but I'd say that the pros are that this venue is an important part of Hokkeido's history, that there are cool things to do around while you aren't listening to music, and that the views are incredible, and that there is a lot of space to fit people.
Cons are perhaps that it might be a little far from the conference venue.
Anything else to add?
