Hey, hey, Ivo Emanuel Gonçalves here and-- What? What do you mean you don't know who I am?
Well, anyway, I attended the "CC for photographers: amateur to pro" (iSummit 2007), and I have to say I was somewhat disappointed with how it turned out. Oh, not that Joi Ito was a bad host, which he wasn't, or that the mostly absent Digital Garage team added little to the discussion.

Ah, piracy. Where would we be without it? Tricky question, really, and after attending the "From CC to piracy and from piracy to the public" panel at the 2007 Summit, it is clear the answer is even more trickier. Piracy is indeed a taboo topic; for some people, it's all wine and roses, for others they can't even bear the idea. It isn't a black and white issue.

Ah, piracy. Where would we be without it?
