Jennifer Jenkins

Jennifer Jenkins is director of the Center for the Study of the Public Domain at Duke Law School, where she heads its "Arts Project" - a project analyzing the effects of intellectual property on cultural production - and teaches seminars on copyright law. She is co-author of "Bound By Law", a comic book about copyright and fair use. This book is available for download, translation and remixing under a Creative Commons BY-NC-SA license at http://www.law.duke.edu/cspd/comics/ . Jenkins is also co-author of "Nuestra Hernandez", a fictional documentary addressing copyright and appropriation, and was a member of the team that defended the copyright lawsuit against the publisher of the novel "The Wind Done Gone" (a parodic rejoinder to "Gone With the Wind").
