From CC to piracy and from piracy to the public domain
A global free culture ecosystem?
From the relationship between creativity, piracy and infrastructure, to the impact of piracy on accessibility, and from legal commons in the Second Life virtual world to the use of the public domain to grow the cultural commons, this panel will discuss the diverse ways in which communities are attempting to reclaim the commons and attempts to answer the question: 'Is this a mutually beneficial ecosystem or are these strategies mutually exclusive?'
