Hmmm. I wonder what this scrapbook is going to be useful for. I can't seem to upload a photo here like I can on the blog posts. I guess maybe I can embed one that's already on the web... That's too bad, as some people in GL probably don't have easy access to an ftp site. I guess they could use flickr, but still, if the feature is available for blog entries, why not make it available in the scrapbook. Oddly, the title of this post is "testimonials." That sounds like something out of Friendster, and a scrapbook sounds more like something out of Orkut.
As a side note, in the new blog entry post, the message that tells you that your blog entry has been posted is in Portuguese, as is one of the words in the title--post an entry "ao" Global Lives Node. David Evan Harris · 22/7/2007 06:40 |

Can I embed an image here?

I guess not
I put in this line, but the tags don't seem to be recognized: (I did have the brackets around it, but it didn't show up, so now I'm pasting it in.

I'm also a little sad that I can't edit my own posts. All of these posts are just attempts for me to play with this software, not to be whiny or negative. I see that it's in beta, so hopefully this exploration is helpful. David Evan Harris · 22/7/2007 06:43 |

At least the owner of the group should be able to delete posts, right? David Evan Harris · 22/7/2007 06:44 |

I also just noticed that I had received a request to join the group from Fumi, but I don't think I received an email notification for that. Also, Simon Dingle told me that he had joined the group, but I don't see him on the member list. David Evan Harris · 22/7/2007 06:45 |
